Step 3: Whirlybird installation 

After cutting the holes, we carefully remove any burrs and rough edges, clearing away all debris. Next, we place the whirlybird into the opening, adding sealant to the edges and assembling the unit without the turbine. Finally, for metal roofs, we use additional screws to affix the unit securely.



For solar units, we focus the solar panel towards the north, and tilt back 5 degrees to the west to catch as much westerly sun in the afternoon as possible.
